  • In case of any unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled. In such cases, the operator shall try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.

DAY 01: Arrival, Phuntsholing- Thimphu

• once you reach Hasimara Station at around 4:10 pm, take shared jeep/taxi to reach Phuentsholing Border which hardly takes 30-40 mins.
• Bunkdays Tour representative will receive you at the Phuentsholing Border and will get you checked in at the hotel in Phuntsholing.

Day 02: Phuntsholing to Thimphu, Sightseeing in Thimphu

• Have breakfast at the hotel.
• After early breakfast, Transfer to Thimphu (148 km/5 hrs). After arrival, check in into the hotel.
• Later we will continue to explore the tourist attractions in Thimphu. Sightseeing will include Mini zoo, National Library, Handmade Paper factory & Memorial Chorten (stupa). Also visit Folk Heritage Museum, and Tashi Choze Dzong, if time permits.
• Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Thimphu to Punakha, Sightseeing

• After breakfast drive to Punakha (4298 ft.) (75 km/2.5 hrs)
• On the way Stop at Dochu-La-Pass (3150 mts) to view the higher Himalayas. Arrival at Punakha check in at hotel.
• After noon visit Punakha Dzong - built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. For many years until the time of the second king, it served as the seat of the Government. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo and King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952.
• Evening free for leisure.
• Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04: Punakha to Paro

• After early breakfast, check out from the hotel.
• Drive to Paro (115 km/3.5 hrs) for sightseeing visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) and then walk down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong, the fortress which has a long and fascinating history.
• If time permits, visit Tiger's Nest’, the sacred Taktshang monastery which clings to the rock face 900 metres above the valley floor. Guru Rinpoche is said to have flown to the site riding on a tigress. He subsequently meditated here for three months. It is one of Bhutan’s most holy sites and draws pilgrims not only from Bhutan but also from neighbouring Buddhist countries.
• Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05: Paro to Phuntsholing, To Hasimara

After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
• Drive back to Phuntsholing border (142 km/4 hrs) and from there you will be transferred to Hasimara Railway station.
• Board train to Dhanbad from Hasimara at around 5:25 PM to reach Dhanbad by next morning 10:15 AM.
• Take back a bag full of happy memories with Bunkdays.

Day 06: Reach Dhanbad/Bokaro

• Reach Dhanbad/Bokaro in the morning as per train timings.
